Our fabrics
Cloth made by hand, a few metres at a time
Handloom cloth is woven on a loom worked by hand and foot. Block print is pressed onto the cloth with carved wooden blocks, one colour at a time.
Both leave small marks of the hand: a thicker thread here, a motif a little off line there. We keep them. They are how you know the cloth was not made by a machine.
