A straight kurta in indigo dabu print, with plain ivory trousers. Dabu is a resist print: the pattern is covered with a paste before the cloth is dyed, so the motif stays light.

Handloom and block-print cloth carries small marks of the hand: a thicker thread, a motif slightly off line, a small change in shade. These are part of the cloth and not faults.
Dark and bright prints can lose a little colour in the first two washes. Wash them on their own in cold water.
